Chapter 2
Mysterious Stones
Early in the next morning, Lin Shi got up and headed straight to the center of the village.
"Chief! Wang Shu!"
"Lin Shi, you're injured yesterday you're not allowed to move it today" Wang Shu saw Lin Shin running early in the morning
"No...... okay, I'm almost recovered ......" Lin Shin explained in a low voice.
"Really?" Wanger Shu skeptically check his body and he found out that his injuries healed really fast, he could not help but be surprised.

"Good for you! You're body is like a mountain, copper steel frame, even ferocious beast bite does not hurt you at all, good you may train go!" Wang Shu cried in satisfaction, Lin Shi agreed to participate in training.
In the square in the village center Wang Shu stand in front of dozens of teenagers with varying age, there are older age nearly sixteen or seventeen and children around seven or eight.
Lin Shi's age in training is very common, whether it is physical, character or training performance are nothing special.
"Good! Today's training begins! First run twenty laps around the village stone wall!"
Wang Shu gave the order, more than a dozen of teenagers lined up and began to move.

According to the village tradition, the village chief must choose individuals from the group of teenagers to become the future village chief and to be trained in the mountains.

After two hours there a crowd of teenagers and children panting at the village square, they just finish their twenty laps of running around the village walls. But for a group of teenagers it is nothing but a moderate exercise. If they want to survive in dangerous mountains, the most important factor is physical strength and stamina.
"Well, rest for a quarter of an hour, then we will begin your next training!"
A group of children breathlessly lay down on the spot trying to recuperate as much as possible to prepare for the next training.

Dozens of teenagers got up and move to the edge of the square in front of a lot of stones.
Piles of stones of different sizes lay there forming a small hill. Smaller stones weighing a few jin and larger stones weighing few hundred jin.
"Wow! Look, Tiger lifts a big block of stone! A while ago, he lift a lot bigger than that!"
"Yes! Amazing! That's huge!"
"Amazing!" Lin Shi startled when he saw Tiger lifted the block of stone that is several times larger that the others. (Lemzki: well I removed a sentence here because I don't know how to interpret that XD.. check the raws!)
He look at Tiger's arm and then look at his fine arms and sighed, picking up less than hundred jin of stone block.
"He's really amazing!" The old village chief eyelids jump seeing Tiger lift the stone that is probably weighing more than three hundred jin. He is only sixteen years old and he already have this kind of strength, this talent is scary!
But having this kind of strong children in the village is a good thing, the next generation will be a lot stronger.
Watching the big tiger, Wang Shu grew more and more satisfied.
The rested teenagers holds one hundred jin of stones alone with high spirits. This is their daily training so they are already accustomed to this kind of torment.
With the hanging sun above, their shadow gradually rotate and shortened. An hour passed.
"Pick one more lightweight stone, I can't see any progress!" Everyone ears heard Uncle Wang roar like a thunder, "Give me an hour plus today!"
Not everyone is motivated in training, there's also individuals who want to be lazy and slack off in training or else their training regiment will not need to be changed.

This training is difficult to exercise, one needs high physical strength and willpower. Not only strength but most importantly is their perseverance or else they will not last long in this hell training.
Large drop of perspiration appear on their forehead, not long before their body was soaked with sweat. But their innocent faces still shows their seriousness and no one cried due to tiredness.
When Wang Shu saw the desperate efforts of the children, he nodded, satisfied.
"Well! You can put it down!"
"Finally over ......."
Everyone immediately throw away the stones and lying down on the ground about to collapse. 'I feel like Im dying."
Lin Shi sat down but did not feel tired at all. He scratched his head with some doubts as to why he is the only one that does not feel tired. When he lifted the stones, it feels lighter than ever.
"Do I have recently become stronger or I just accidentally chosen a lighter stones?" He thought but he did not understand. 'For the time being I can only think so.'
"Listen! Physical strength is an important aspect of your physique."
"The mountains are extremely dangerous especially for people with bad physique, not to mention hunting if you encounter a ferocious beast then your life is forfeited! Some young ferocious beast was born with strength of several hundred jin, enough to tear a human body like a piece of cloth."
Hearing this, some teenagers breathe a lump of cold air. Some of their timid little face paled, fear climbed onto their innocent face.
'I can see the success of these frightened children', Wang Shu thought very satisfied. His peripheral vision inadvertently caught a glimpse of a gaunt figure, it is Lin Shi, it does not seem to be scared in his words and just keep sitting on the ground beating his legs.
"It's a dumb head!" Wanger Shu thought to myself.
"Now I want to announce one thing with you, I want you to train for three months and then after that I will check your strength, the strongest will join the hunting team and together with us we will enter the mountains. I will teach him hunting skills."
Hearing this, the quick minded people have understood its meaning, then all of them similarly looked towards the same person.
Tiger's complacency loneliness proudly meet the envious eyes from all sides. His physique compared to his peers was the strongest and have greater strength, his arms together was more than three hundred jin. Such strength even Wang Shu never reached when he was sixteen.
He's strength not long after was two hundred jin.
Needless to say, after three months it will certainly big Tiger's win. After becoming the helper of the hunting team, he will become the most important member of the village and will be the village chief successor in the near future.
"This is the end of today's training, disband!"
In the village half of their time was for training and the other half was for rest, of course night sleep excluded.
At the end of the day, darkness gradually enveloped the earth. Lin Shi calmly lying in his wooden bed. Fatigue overtake him due to physical training of the day, not long after he ponder some random things he fell asleep.
At this point a mutation was taking place.

Although he only absorbed a very small part of the mysterious stones aura, a little change occur in his body.
